Black Belt I is the original Black Belt course, designed to equip you with the skills and core competencies needed to produce and deliver exceptional internal communications. The curriculum is centered around three core areas and provides you with plenty of opportunities to leverage the diverse knowledge of the trainers and your classmates as well synthesize, internalize, reflect on and clarify:

  • The role, competencies and characteristics of a successful internal communication function and individual practitioner
  • How to use internal communication to help achieve corporate objectives and add maximum value to your organization
  • How to develop an effective internal communication plan - and measure its success
  • Best practice tactics to communicate business strategy and change

Becoming a trusted advisor and valuable partner

Black Belt 2 provides tools, models and practice you need to increase your value as a partner and your credibility as an advisor to your business. Over three days you'll learn how to:

  • Earn the trust you need to be perceived as a partner and advisor and to be respected as someone who has a valuable contribution to make to the business
  • Use key skills such as listening, powerful questioning, intuition and feedback to influence and build trust
  • Develop and practice consulting and coaching skills to elevate your role in your organization
  • Plan and facilitate small group sessions, such as brainstorming meetings, focus groups and workshops
